Michigan Roots
James has always loved the small town feel, being born and raised in Almont, Michigan. Growing up there, it felt as if the whole town was one big family. James has been an avid outdoorsman since he was young – going up north to salmon fish in the Betsie River and spending time in the woods with his dad. Michigan is a state of beauty he is proud to call home.
Dedicated to Craftsmanship
James Johnson got his start working in high-end luxury homes which made him appreciate the craftsmanship that really goes into making something “luxurious”. Spending hours preparing every custom piece and taking great pride in the craftsmanship upon installation, ensuring everything was installed by hand and double checked for precision.
Passion and Commitment
Putting in the extra hours to get the job done right has never been a problem for James. He took his builder’s classes after working a full-time position, getting home and continuing to study for hours every night until he was able to take the residential builders test and become an entrepreneur. James has always had an eye for detail, building/carpentry allows him to make a piece of art that is eye catching and visually stunning.
